Our Initiatives
What We Do
We work with partners to bring open food shelf hours to the community.
Open food shelf means food is available free of charge to anyone who comes.
Open Food Shelf
We host open food shelf hours when all are welcome to come and collect food items.
This includes simple registration to support our efforts and allows us to continue to support the community.
Standard open hours are Thursdays and Saturdays from 12:00pm - 2:00pm
TEFAP
The Emergency Food Assistance Program
As a TEFAP member we are supported by Federal Programs that help us on our mission of reducing food insecurity.
Foods coming from TEFAP: products include canned, frozen, dried, juiced, and fresh fruits and vegetables; protein items such as meat, fish, eggs, nuts, and beans; whole and enriched grains such as rice, flour, cereals, pasta, and tortillas; and dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese
